1. Finish or pause active work
Rotation may disconnect requests, sessions or streams. Finish sensitive operations before requesting a change and allow the client to reconnect afterwards.
2. Use the issued private rotation URL
Follow the exact method and setup instructions supplied with your access. Request rotation once, then check the connection. Treat the URL as a secret: anyone who obtains it may be able to interrupt your connection.
3. Set a supported timer interval
Use only an interval confirmed for your connection. Available intervals, cooldown and control location depend on the delivered service. This guide does not invent an API endpoint, minimum interval or timer control that has not been confirmed.
4. Compare the observed exit IP
Record the IP before rotation, reconnect after the request, then check again. A carrier can reissue a previously used IP. A successful request does not guarantee a never-used address, a fixed rotation time or a new reputation score.
5. Report a reproducible problem
Include order ID, UTC time, client name, the observed behavior and redacted response. Do not repeatedly trigger rotation while support investigates, and do not put the private URL in public logs, screenshots or analytics.
